Giving to Center for Arts and Humanities

The Center for Arts and Humanities seeks your financial contributions for our programming!

At CAH, we offer a full list workshops, presentations, and our wonderful Salon Series, which features various faculty members and folks from beyond Missouri who come to the Conley House and give presentations on their work - from performance studies, to Irish immigrant history, to ecology and conservation, publishing your work, poetry, art, music, and other arts and humanities topics. Our programming invites all members of the MU community as well as the Columbia community to participate.

We have been asked how interested folks could donate money to help fund the work of CAH: we now have an answer. The MU Office of Research has established two gift accounts specifically for the Center for Arts and Humanities: one is for designated gifts (if, for example, you wanted your gift to be used only for Salons or for faculty fellowships, art exhibits, etc.) and undesignated gifts (which would mean we could use it as needed at the Center).

Without a doubt, we need your financial backing for our endeavors at the Center for Arts and Humanities. We could even initiate some new programs, prizes, exhibits, other things, if we only had a flexible budget.
Therefore, if you should choose to send your gifts for the use of our Center, we would greatly appreciate anything you can provide. And, we will, of course, be sure and publicize your gift and note how it was used.

Please send all contributions, with directions for use by the Center for Arts and Humanities, to the office of Barb Breen, 205 Jesse Hall, Office of Research, University of Missouri, Columbia, MO 65211. She will keep me up to date on all contributions.
